What You Need to Know
We’re looking to add an Associate Director, Meeting Planning & Speaker Bureau Services to our Speaker Bureau team. The Assoicate Director will be responsible for oversight and direction of services related to pharmaceutical company sponsored in-person and virtual speaker bureau programs. This includes serving as point of contact for clients related to logistical services for their speaker bureau programs lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure flawless execution of events to include meeting venue requirements, audio-visual or other equipment needs, food and beverage, and travel arrangements, assuring budgetary guidelines are met
- Oversee speaker bureau program planning for a designated smaller territory
- Handle program components—both writing and operationalizing all logistical speaker bureau components to support the meeting planning and closeout teams across clients
- Assist the Program Director with client communications and status updates
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact to the Meeting Planning team
- Attend face-to-face client meetings
- Ensure work instructions / business rules are adhered too
- Support the Director with reporting, program closeouts, reconciliations, SLAs
What You’ll Have
3-5 Years of related industry Speaker Bureau experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Adobe AcrobatStrong interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externallyExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to simultaneously balance and adjust to multiple changing priorities and make decisions with speed and accuracyResolves project-related challenges and personnel conflicts as neededAbility to apply professional development techniques with direct reports, while always utilizing a cooperative and cross-functional approachHigh level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem-solvingWhat We Offer
