Finance Manager
Reporting to the Director of Finance and located in Hollister, CA, this role is responsible for leading the financial performance of a $200M+ portfolio. This position requires cross functional partnership and teamwork to ensure alignment and successful performance of strategic, operational, and financial objectives. Additionally, role expectations include briefing all levels of leadership on business financial performance and providing strategic business support. This role requires the ability to independently diagnose and get results, across multiple functions in development and production factory environments.
Develop and coordinate financial statements and processes including annual budget and monthly close and forecast cycles including adherence to financial controls.
Demonstrate bias for action leveraging business acumen and financial data to effectively identify risks and opportunities early and influence improved performance through data driven analysis.
Prepare and provide accurate and timely monthly financial reports including detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of key variances, trends and path to successful forward-looking execution.
Manage and track key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, indirect expenses, etc. Develop plan and drive countermeasures in partnership with leadership to achieve results.
Provide financial support in the development of capital investments, new business opportunities and other projects.
Lead and execute with a continuous improvement mindset implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiencies.
Effectively communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders. Provide advice, mentorship, and support on all financial matters to the company leaders.
Mentor and develop the site finance team.
Qualifications :
Proven success in leading a highly matrixed and complex financial structure.
Experience with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
Demonstrated experience being a change agent, embracing technology solutions for efficiency and accuracy.
Build partnerships with business functions, providing timely information through effective communication and fostering trust.
Advanced data analytics and Microsoft Excel skills
Working knowledge of government accounting preferred.
Supply chain experience preferred.
Education and Experience :
BS / BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years financial experience in a manufacturing environment.
