Duties, Responsibilities & Other

KCI is hiring an experienced Site / Civil Project Manager to join our team in New York City.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Develops and approves scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.

• Prepares proposals to provide professional services for engineering projects or programs; reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
• Understands all required project deliverables and permitting requirements for the project; informs ownership and design team members at outset of the project to ensure all deliverables are provided on time and on budget.
• Leads coordination with New York City agencies - NYCDEP : Site Connection, SWPPP, Cross Connection, etc., NYCT / MTA, NYCDOT, NYCDOB, FDNY - to obtain relevant permit approvals
• Functions as technical advisor on public and private site / civil projects including : parks / open space projects, utilities replacements, stormwater management, sidewalk replacements, etc.
• Ability to coordinate between multiple disciplines (ie. Marine, Structural, Geotechnical, Survey, etc) to achieve project goals.
• Supervises all assisting staff necessary to complete assignments including providing support and mentorship to junior staff throughout project design.
• Assists senior management with tasks related to project financials (invoicing, AP, project budgets, etc)
• Develops new techniques and / or improved processes, materials, or products.
• Consistently monitors and achieves project financial goals.
• Maintaining client relationships, serving as the point of contact for their projects, and developing opportunities for further work.
