Job description

Title : Solutions Center Representative – Technical Products

Hours : Full-time, 7am-4pm MST

Location : Midvale, UT (On-site with occasional remote flexibility) #LI-Onsite

Reports to : Solutions Center Manager

Compensation : A salary range of $22-$27 per hour, depending on candidate experience.

This Role

We're looking for a technically experienced, fast-learning Customer Support professional to join BioLite's Solutions Center team. You'll provide exceptional service to customers using BioLite's growing portfolio of energy and outdoor products.

This is a high-volume, high-accuracy position, ideal for someone who enjoys digging into technical details, troubleshooting real-world product challenges, and managing a steady flow of support inquiries with efficiency and care. You'll operate with a high level of autonomy, balancing speed and empathy to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You'll help customers get the most out of BioLite's and Goal Zero's energy technologies, ensuring every product experience reflects our mission to bring energy everywhere.

You Will

  • Manage customer inquiries by email and phone using Zendesk, with supporting actions in Shopify and NetSuite
  • Respond to approximately 50–100 tickets per day, maintaining a one-business-day response time and high-quality resolutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical product issues, including charging, firmware, and performance questions across BioLite's power, lighting, and cooking lines
  • Guide customers through usage best practices, warranty processes, and product setups
  • Manage returns, replacements, and warranty claims with Experience providing detailed troubleshooting and resolutions to users, ensuring a smooth customer experience
  • Identify and document product or process trends; collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams to improve long-term solutions
  • Contribute to BioLite's internal Knowledge Base and customer Help Center by writing or updating support articles
  • Demonstrate accuracy in communication, even in time-sensitive or high-demand situations.
  • Support continuous improvement projects within the Solutions Center
  • You Have

  • 3+ years of experience in customer or technical support, in consumer electronics, outdoor equipment, or renewable energy products
  • Experience managing high ticket volume while maintaining clarity, accuracy, and empathy
  • Technical curiosity, you love understanding how things work and helping others use them.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make accurate, informed decisions in real time.
  • Excellent Experience interpreting and responding to customer requests with a focus on a supportive tone and clarity
  • Proficient in or familiar with Zendesk, Shopify, NetSuite, or other CRM and e-commerce systems
  • Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge on the job
  • Succeeded in a collaborative environment but work independently with confidence and accountability
