Job description

Description

The Regional Vice President is the senior-most operational and business development leader within a large geographic territory, responsible for driving both the strategic vision and tactical execution of municipal and institutional parking programs. This role provides comprehensive oversight of financial performance, client engagement, market growth, and operational consistency while aligning with broader corporate objectives. With significant authority to define the regional structure, priorities, and approach, the Regional Vice President ensures operational excellence is consistently balanced with long-term growth, market positioning, and innovation.

Equally critical is this leader’s role in developing and inspiring high-performing teams. The Regional Vice President sets the tone for accountability, professionalism, and service excellence by mentoring and coaching direct reports and instilling those values throughout the organization. This individual is recognized as both a leader in the market—building a positive reputation with municipalities, institutions, and stakeholders—and a leader within the organization—modeling collaboration, growth, and performance-driven culture. By fostering a people-first approach and maintaining exceptional service standards to customers, clients, and the company, the Regional Vice President ensures the company not only meets financial and operational goals but also strengthens its reputation as a trusted business partner.

Perfect Candidate must be located on US East Coast

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the regional business plan, balancing operational excellence with long-term growth strategies.
  • Own and develop the five-year business development pipeline, cultivating new opportunities while ensuring existing client retention.
  • Represent the company as a visible leader in the municipal and institutional market, enhancing the organization’s reputation with city partners, universities, institutions, and community stakeholders.
  • Serve as a recognized thought leader in the parking and mobility industry by actively contributing to and participating in industry associations, conferences, and forums.

Financial Accountability & Operational Oversight :

  • Provide full P&L ownership for the region, meeting revenue attainment, expense management, and profitability goals.
  • Establish and maintain compliance with all company policies, contractual obligations, and audit / safety standards across the region.
  • Determine the optimal operating structure for the region, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the executive-level liaison for municipalities, universities, institutions, and community partners, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Build trust through transparency, accountability, and consistent delivery of best-in-class service standards.
  • Identify and address client needs proactively, positioning the company as a strategic partner in municipal mobility solutions.
  • Team Development & Leadership

  • Mentor, coach, and develop regional leaders (Directors, Managers, and Territory Managers) to build strong, accountable teams.
  • Instill a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, inclusion, and operational excellence across all levels of the organization.
  • Make strategic decisions on staffing, including hire / fire authority for senior team members, to ensure the right leadership is in place.
  • Service Excellence & Company Standards

  • Champion a people-first approach that prioritizes exceptional service to customers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Set measurable standards of performance for service delivery and hold teams accountable to achieving them.
  • Model the company’s values and expectations as a respected leader both internally and externally.
  • Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in parking operations leadership, preferably in municipal and institutional services, parking technology, or infrastructure-related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of parking hardware / software (e.g., meters, kiosks, PARCs, enforcement / permitting platforms)
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue / expense analysis.
  • Proven experience leading teams through implementation, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-state operations with full P&L responsibility.
  • History of fostering strong relationships with public agencies, city officials, event planners, and institutional stakeholders.
