Clinical Assistant - AFO - St. Petersburg Area

Position Summary : At Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Clinical Assistants are more than clinical support, they are essential members of the patient care team. In this full-time role, you'll work directly with a provider to deliver efficient, high-quality orthopedic care in a fast-paced clinical environment. You'll assist with exams, procedures, and patient education while ensuring each individual feels supported and cared for throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Support

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are fully stocked and organized for the day
• Escort patients to rooms, take vital signs, and update EMR with accurate documentation
• Assist with in-office procedures including injections, dressing changes, and suture removals
• Support provider during exams by anticipating needs and maintaining patient comfort
• Educate patients on post-visit instructions and coordinate follow-ups as directed
