Senior Big Data Analytics Developer w / proven experience developing 'Big Data' algorithmic platforms job responsibilities include implementing the analytics infrastructure, data integration with both streaming and batch sources, efficient distributed processing, and managing predictive analytics models. Must be well-versed in writing Scala architecture on OS X and AWS (Amazon Web Services), as well as Java and Clojure. Must have a strong understanding of data modeling in both Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Representational State Transfer (REST).

My client is currently building a cloud-based analytics platform using open source and SaaS tools should have experience with Apache Kafka and Samza. Candidate should have a strong understanding of Test-Driven Development, Agile Methodologies, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment along with analytics techniques such as Machine Learning and Bayesian Methods. Must be familiar with NoSQL on the back end.
