Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Sign Language Interpreter to support a 1st grade student in an elementary school setting. This position is based in Alabaster, AL, and involves working Monday through Friday for 6-7 hours each day during the school year. The role requires interpreting services to facilitate effective munication between the student, teachers, and peers, enhancing the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide accurate and professional sign language interpretation for a 1st grade student in classroom and school-related activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure munication access and student engagement.
• Assist the student in understanding instructional content and participating fully in classroom interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
