Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter is needed to support a 1st grade student in an elementary school setting. This contract position spans the full school year and requires 6-7 hours of work daily, Monday through Friday, located in Centreville, AL.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation to facilitate munication for a 1st grade student in all academic and social settings.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and school staff to ensure the students needs are met.
• Assist with classroom activities by interpreting lessons, instructions, and interactions in real time.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and school policies.

Qualifications and Experience :

Location : Centreville, AL

Schedule : Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6-7 hours per day

Duration : Contract, full school year
