Job description

Paulding Care Center  is currently hiring a  PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)!

Qualifications

  • Graduate with Associates degree in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
  • Holds current license and / or registration in the state of Georgia
  • Current CPR certification

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
  • Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
  • Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
  • Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
  • Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
