Senior Software Engineer - Ruby

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer I - Ruby Backend.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of new features and enhancements for Ruby on Rails-based APIs

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture and design discussions for scalable systems

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Ruby and Rails

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization

Solid understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL and MySQL

Experience with testing frameworks like RSpec and / or Minitest
