The QuickBase Developer Contractor will design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using QuickBase. This role will partner with stakeholders across departments to automate workflows, streamline data collection, and improve operational efficiency. The contractor will be responsible for implementing best practices in app design, user access, reporting, and system integrations. - Responsibilities :
- Provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer for each project, enabling internal staff to understand, maintain, and support applications after deployment.
- Offer training or walkthroughs to designated staff as needed, ensuring internal knowledge retention and self-sufficiency.

- Communicate progress regularly to the IT Manager and / or stakeholders, including roadblocks and risks.
- Adhere to agreed-upon timelines and milestones; proactively escalate any delays or concerns.
- Work collaboratively with IT to ensure application designs align with the company's security, data governance, and integration standards.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain QuickBase applications to support business processes.
- Collaborate with end users and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design user-friendly interfaces, forms, dashboards, and automated workflows.
- Create and maintain complex formulas, pipelines, and relationships between tables.
- Integrate QuickBase with other business systems and tools (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.) using APIs or middleware.
- Manage permissions, roles, and user access to ensure data integrity and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and data structures.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training as needed.
- Test and deploy updates, enhancements, and new features while ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and performance optimizations.

- Skills / Qualifications :
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency in all areas and responsibilities.
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing QuickBase applications.
- Proven track record in customizing QuickBase apps, pipelines, and integrations.
- Experience working as a contractor or consultant preferred.
- Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling.
- Proficiency in QuickBase formulas, pipelines, webhooks, and APIs.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Solid Excel and data analysis skills.

- Comfortable with oversight and accountability, including reporting to the IT Manager and participating in check-ins or progress reviews.

- Contract Terms Section :
