Medical Assistant Clinic

Position Summary :

Under general supervision, andaccording to established policies and procedures, will provide excellentpatient care by performing or assisting in a variety of medical procedures andtests to assist in the examination and treatment of patients, including but notlimited to vital signs, procedures, various treatment, administering injectionsand venipuncture. Assists with clerical duties to maintain efficientoperations.

Essential Functionsand Responsibilities :

1. Performsto service excellence standards :

• Responds promptly, professionally andcourteously to all customers' needs.
• Cooperates and communicates effectively with allpatients, families and staff.
• Contributes to continuous quality improvementefforts.

2. Preparesexamining rooms including turning on computer terminals and stocks room withsupplies.

3. Organizesforms for physicals, etc.

4. Workscollaboratively with provider to assists in providing care to patients :

5. Withfocus on customer service, takes telephone messages from patients, returnsmessages, and provides information to others as requested / directed.
