Syntricate Technologies is hiring : FIB / SEM Engineer in Austin

Required Skills : 8+ Year Experience

• 5+ years of experience in materials characterization or failure analysis.
• Expertise with grinding, polishing, encapsulation techniques, optical microscopy and a range of sample preparation approaches for a variety of materials
• Expertise in iterative planar polishing
• Ability to perceive device structures in three dimensions
• Data analysis and reporting abilities (i.e. Keynote or equivalent)
• Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies
• Past experience with argon ion milling is a plus
• To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth, hands-on understanding of Dual Beam FIB / SEM
• Familiarity with a wide variety of materials characterization techniques (SEM / EDS, FTIR, CT / X-Ray, etc..) and fundamental failure analysis methodology
