Job Summary

This position will provide day-to-day financial, analytical, and administrative support pertaining to the reconciliation, recording, receipt and disbursement of cash. Duties include reconciling, recording, researching, monitoring, and analyzing cash activity across the banking platform; establishing / maintaining bank accounts and services according to Treasury Controls; supporting restaurant managers with all things related to banking and armored carrier services; and establishing and maintaining strong partner relationships, both internal and external.

Your Role

• Support of new restaurant openings by opening bank accounts and establishing applicable services, request bids and select an armored carrier / order supplies
• Monitor and / or reconcile restaurant and / or corporate bank accounts
• Produce and analyze bank reconciliation reports / data to resolve deposit discrepancies and identify trends, potential fraud / theft, and cost savings
• Perform daily and end of month reconciliations / book journal entries to the general ledger as needed
• Identify, research, report, and resolve restaurant deposit discrepancies timely
• Perform quality and control reviews of Cash Accounting offshore teamwork
• Analyze service fees to determine if reasonable and within contractual terms
• Maintain knowledge of the banking and armored carrier industries as they relate to product offerings, services, and fees
• Develop knowledge of and work closely with Treasury, Revenue Accounting, Restaurant and Sales Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Security teams
• Maintain a professional, positive rapport with banking and armored carrier representatives to ensure continuity of relationships
• Serve as a primary contact for all questions / issues related to banking, armored carrier service, and cash transactions
• Ensure SOX compliance and provide support for internal and external audits
• Participate in projects as needed and perform ad-hoc reporting as needed
• Communicate with, support, and review the work of the Cash Accounting offshore team, provide training on Cash Accounting processes and update Standard Operating Procedures as needed
