Job Description :

L3Harris is seeking qualified individuals to join our Aeronautical Systems Engineering team as an Electrical Design Engineer for ISR & Special Mission Programs. In this role, you will lead and develop electrical power systems for the integration of electrical / electronic equipment on the aircraft systems. In addition, program tasking can include development of electrical load analysis, facilities documents, vendor coordination and supporting testing / integration of this system. Engineer will be responsible for research, systems integration, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other junior level employees
• Ensure programs are accomplished on schedule and within budget while complying with process / procedures and program requirements
• Provide input into new products, processes, standards, and production plans that have measurable impact on the achievement of overall business results
• Capable of influencing a wide range of audience, and having demonstrated leadership skills to win support without direct reporting structure
