Position Overview :
The Electro-Mechanical Technician 2 will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on production equipment and building systems with moderate to high complexity. This role requires proficiency in at least one building trade or function and the ability to work independently.
Key Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or GED / HiSET is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role is necessary.
- Basic knowledge of electricity fundamentals.
- Proven ability to diagnose and execute complex equipment repairs.
- General familiarity with various building trades.
- Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work efficiently and safely.
- Reliability and good attendance record are essential.
- Availability for mandatory overtime and emergency calls as needed.
- Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach / perform overhead tasks often.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling may be required.
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity are crucial.
- Required safety gear includes hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes.
Schedule : Friday - Sunday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, totaling 36 hours / week.
