Program Analyst II
This position is with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Program Analyst II will work independently and serve primarily as the Florida Forest Service's Policy and Procedure Coordinator. The position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in policy analysis, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, or administrative work. A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience. Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Requires a valid class E Driver's License.
The duties of this position include : policy management, legislative budget request, bill analyses and regulatory plan, and administrative responsibilities. The position requires occasional to moderate travel and may require responding to emergencies, including natural disasters or other type incidents requiring travel, as needed.
