Job DescriptionThe Culinary Service Manager is a management position responsible for developing and implementing culinary solutions to meet residents' needs and tastes. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsRequires at least 2 to 3 years of experience in senior lviing and / or healthcareRequires at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a management roleBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationshipsAbility to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service modelAbility to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customersRequires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.Must be a certified dietary manager, or acertified food service manager; or has similar national certification for food service management and safety from a national certifying body; or has an associate?s or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, if the course study includes food service or restaurant management, from an accredited institution of higher learning; or has 2 or more years of experience in the position of director of food and nutrition services in a nursing facility setting and has completed a course of study in food safety and management, by no later than October 1, 2023, that includes topics integral to managing dietary operations including, but not limited to, foodborne illness, sanitation procedures, and food purchasing / receiving; and in States that have established standards for food service managers or dietary managers, meets State requirements for food service managers or dietary managers, and receives frequently scheduled consultations from a qualified dietitian or other clinically qualified nutrition professional.EducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
