Salary :
PURPOSE : This position's primary responsibility is to collect parts and prepare customer orders for Final Assembly and to assist other assemblers in the assembly of units.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review job order specification sheet and bill of materials to determine the parts needed for the customer order.
- Verify parts to the blueprint drawings.
- Pick and consolidate parts into designated areas.
- Pick and organize painted inventory into designated areas.
- Prepare completed orders for shipping by collecting all parts and paperwork.
- Assist Final assemblers with the assembly of units.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Basic mechanical ability.
- Organization skills.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to drive forklift.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
- Basic computer skills.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Standing 90%
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. -50%
- Walking 70%
