Staff Accountant

Volt is immediately hiring for a Staff Accountant for a company located in Norwalk, CA.

As a Staff Accountant you will :

• Lead various aspects of accounting month-end close and financial reporting process, including creating & maintaining journal entries and analysis.
• Responsible for conducting monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, such as prepaids, expense accruals, loan and interest activity, and bank reconciliations, with minimal oversight.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
• Review and analysis of all general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and conduct variance analysis on the prior period comparison
• Regular collaboration and communication with finance and operational departments to ensure an understanding of business activities that will impact responsible areas of accounting to validate financial data and generate clear, accurate reports.

This is a full-time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have :

Schedule : 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm

Days : Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday
