Our Yorkville, Illinois, farm is our largest greenhouse in Illinois, at around 480,000 square feet. With an annual production of around 6 million pounds of leafy greens, BrightFarms is ensuring fresh greens for Chicagoland communities.

Specifically, you will :

• Monitoring operations : Keeping an eye on day-to-day operations and reporting on performance
• Drive improvements and projects across the growing and food manufacturing facility to increase efficiency and productivity
• Develop and train employees across a 24 / 7 operation on multiple shifts
• Develop and implement procedures as needed across growing, packaging, warehousing, maintenance, and food safety
• Promote a food safety culture at the farm
• Standardize best practices and creates forms necessary to collect KPIs
• Be proficient in effectively communicating with employees throughout the organization from shop floor to leadership
• Willingness and desire to assist in unrelated and / or unassigned tasks to ensure the effective operation of the Greenhouse
• Provide Production Supervisor coverage as required
