Service Advisor Responsibilities
Oversee service orders and flow of drive laneEnsure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective serviceTake ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customerProvide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandledEnsure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.Distribute work between technicians efficientlyAnswer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessaryOversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service departmentSet schedules and assigns tasks to service department employeesReinforces company policies and adheres to company standardsEncourages compliance with applicable laws and regulationsMaintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relationsCollaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisionsService Advisor Qualifications
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfactionPast experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultantAbove-average energy levelA desire for a long-term career with a growing organizationPersonal and professional integrityComputer skills and willingness to learn new programsPreferred Chevrolet Buick GMC is a part of Preferred Auto Dealerships.
