Pricing Analyst

At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join the EWS Wiremold team in West Hartford, CT. As a member of the pricing department, this position has direct involvement and responsibilities for the profitability of the business.

Candidate will participate in the quotation process, working with the sales team to deliver proposals to their customers while meeting performance objectives. You will also assist leadership in understanding and interpreting our performance, activity levels and opportunities.

Individual will analyze data for monthly performance, coordinating inputs and preparing documents for review. Participate in the creation and maintenance of report that Identify trends and anomalies, examines further to identify drivers, prepares summary of findings for review by senior staff.

What Will You Do?

• Review, advise, correct, and approve pricing requests from sales.
• Use statistical modeling and data analysis tools to assess pricing impacts.
• Work with customer service to ensure we meet customer ordering requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze reports to improve sales and profitability.
• Coordinate with product line managers on specific products and projects.
• Perform other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 0-3 years of experience as a pricing analyst or 3-5 years of experience in the electrical field.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
• Must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Exceptional computer skills. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Minitab. Additional skills in Tableau, etc. are helpful.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation. Will need to give and receive complex and sensitive information, and process that information appropriately.
• The ability to create effective reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
• Needs to work with a sense of urgency without constant supervision.
