Position Summary :

Driver and champion of quality excellence in a high paced automotive environment with specialized machining operations to complex assembly. This individual will be high-level contributor and driver of the organization to progress the quality of both the product and culture.

• Strategic Oversight : The position will be responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives and driving process improvements that directly impact departmental KPIs and overall plant performance.
• Leadership and Influence : The individual will need to influence without authority across multiple departments, represent the site during regional or global reviews, and mentor less experienced team members.
• Advanced Technical / Functional Knowledge : This role requires the ability to navigate complex challenges independently and make data-driven decisions with limited oversight.
• Customer Focus : This role directly works with customers at multiple levels and requires experience to navigate the complex issues that may arise from quality and warranty issues.
• Business Impact : The position will be accountable for high-impact outcomes such new launch excellence and quality improvements, which directly contribute to meeting organizational goals. The role will be responsible for the new model launch on line 154 for Ford P768. Key Roles & Responsibilities

Standard Duties :

The QE will act as the liaison between manufacturing and the customer, ensuring that the overall customer quality and regulatory requirements and expectations are met.

Facilitate all quality-related activities associated with customer product introductions within APQP

Additional Information :

Travel is occasionally required, up to 5% of the time.

Education & Experience
