What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams - your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

Preferred qualifications

Python; C++; Java; and MATLAB is beneficial

Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP / IP, and IPv6

Knowledge of Linux / Unix systems, including command-line interfaces and scripting, is essential.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure can be advantageous

Microsoft Office Suite : Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote is necessary for documentation and presentation

The base pay for this position generally is between $27.50 and $29.50 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
