The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Spokane. Business Development

Manage the sales process from opportunity targeting through booking and transition to operations.

Creates vertical market development plans; make recommendations regarding actions, including cooperative selling efforts.

Leverage relationship management and needs-based selling skills to provide clients with a consultative sales process.

Identifies and participates in trade shows, social media and web conferences.

Creates speaking opportunities at organizations conferences and web platforms.

Manages the development and delivery of a national program.

Team Management

Coach and develop sales professionals.

Trains, mentors and manages staff in affective tactics to attain team goals.

Create performance plans, assess performance and provide performance feedback

Manages the Account Executive and Senior Account Executive to ensure the successful achievement of business goals.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Senior Account Executive.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience required.

Experience in financial / performance contracting required.

Seven (7) years of experience of financial / performance contracting experience including previous leadership, sales, and marketing with an energy services or related organization, with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to a project implementation team.

T he pay range for this position i s $114,210 - $173,610 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
