Tax Accountant

Job Summary : We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Tax Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for preparing and filing accurate tax returns, supporting tax planning initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax accounting principles and a proactive approach to identifying tax-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local income tax returns for the organization or clients.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations.
• Conduct tax research and stay up to date on changes in tax legislation.
• Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify and recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
• Assist in transfer pricing, sales / use tax, and international tax compliance, as applicable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
