1st Shift (6 : 00 AM) & 2nd Shift (2 : 30 PM)
1st Shift ($19.00Hr) & 2nd Shift ($19.50Hr)
Position Summary
The Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting with the inventory, organization, and distribution of parts within assigned departments. This role plays an important part in keeping materials flowing efficiently through production while maintaining accurate records and a clean, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming parts and place them in designated storage or production areas.
Perform periodic cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and move them throughout the plant as needed.
Communicate promptly with the Inventory Manager regarding any inventory discrepancies or issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize floor space and material flow.
Properly document all work order travelers and transactions.
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workspace.
Complete assigned work within set timelines and quality standards.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 year of inventory or warehouse experience preferred.
6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Ability to push or move carts / pallet jacks carrying several hundred pounds.
Ability to safely operate a motorized forklift (certification preferred).
Basic understanding of inventory control and production transactions.
Strong counting and measuring skills with attention to accuracy.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Team-oriented with a positive and energetic attitude.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or climb short ladders throughout the shift.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
