Hiring Entry Level and Mid-Level Assemblers! Pay : $20 / 25 / hr

Job Description

The assembler will meticulously handle fiber cables by measuring, cutting, and placing them in clips. Guided by a blueprint or detailed work instruction, the assembler will feed each color-coded wire through a connector, ensuring precise accuracy. Once the wires are correctly positioned, a small amount of epoxy is applied, and the wires are pulled through to achieve a protective coating. Following this, the assembly is placed in a curing device to dry the epoxy, polished, and rigorously tested for proper connections. The role requires the use of small hand tools, microscopes, and projection scopes to complete the assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and place fiber cables into clips.
• Follow blueprints or work instructions to connect color-coded wires.
• Ensure precise accuracy in wire placement.
• Apply epoxy and pull wires through for coating.
• Use curing devices to dry epoxy.
• Polish and test the assemblies to ensure proper function.

Work Environment

Work in a newly renovated facility that is part of a brand new division. The clean room environment allows business casual attire without restrictions on clothing, jewelry, or perfumes. Although a smock is required, other PPE like gloves and safety glasses are optional. As the division grows from a small team to a larger group, you'll have the opportunity to help shape and improve processes, contributing to a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
