Job description

A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join one of its facilities in the Hudson Valley.

About the Opportunity :

Schedule : Monday to Friday (one weekend day per month)
Hours : Standard business (one late evening a week)

Responsibilities :

Diagnosing and treating common and chronic illnesses

Assisting with health promotion and disease prevention

Patient education and counseling

Prescribing medications and treatments

Making home / hospital visits to clients and / or taking calls

Participating in special projects and committees

Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

2+ years of related Nursing experience with at least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Nursing

Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license

NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification & registration

Certified or eligible for certification by recognized specialty organization

Desired Skills :

Bilingual (English and Spanish)
