Job Overview
With over 75 years in
medical
device manufacturing, Flexan, an Ingersoll Rand business, has built a legacy as a trusted contract manufacturer, guiding customers from early design through full-scale
cleanroom
production. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive the next chapter of our
operational
excellence. This role goes beyond day-to-day support, leading strategic, high-impact initiatives. It's ideal for an engineer who thrives on driving change, implementing
automation
, and delivering solutions that make a tangible difference on the production floor.
You'll own and execute major projects from identifying
operational
needs to delivering fully integrated solutions, collaborating with production teams and external partners to bring custom equipment to life. From automating manual processes to developing new
tooling
and workflows, you'll drive every project from concept to commissioning. With a "
continuous improvement
" mindset and lean thinking, you'll spot opportunities, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement solutions that elevate performance across
operations.

Responsibilities :
project management

Requirements : Bachelor
of science in a related
engineering
field from a four-year college or university.
Medical
Device Industry preferred.
Minitab
(or other statistical analysis software).
CAD
modeling, preferably with
SolidWorks
or a similar system, and experienced with Windows-based applications such as
Visual ERP .

Applies lean methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall production performance.
: Effectively partners with internal teams and external vendors. Communicates clearly across disciplines to align project goals, share updates, and drive consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
: Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings with limited procedural structure. Demonstrates resilience and resourcefulness in navigating ambiguity and building scalable solutions from the ground up.
