Job Description

The CNC Machinist will operate CNC Mills and related equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy in the production process. You will be responsible for making program adjustments, editing G-Code, adjusting speed, feed, and tool depth, and performing complete setups, tool changes, and teardowns.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills and related machinery.
• Make program adjustments and edits.
• Adjust speed, feed, and tool depth.
• Understand and work with G-Code.
• Complete setups, tool changes, and teardowns.
• Use specialized saws or hand tools as required.
• Utilize calipers and micrometers, with a solid understanding of fractions and decimals.
• Read and interpret industrial blueprints.
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Operate a forklift for loading and unloading steel from machines.
• Complete inspection sheets accurately.

Work Environment

The position is based in a machine shop environment with non-climate-controlled conditions, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The available shifts are Sunday to Wednesday from 7 PM to 5 AM, with overtime required on Thursdays, working a total of 50 hours per week. Alternatively, there is a Monday to Thursday shift from 5 AM to 3 PM. This role is currently hiring for the night shift.
