Employment Status : Staff Description of Key Responsibility : Provide reference service at the Information Desk Maintain building security, including responsibility for opening and / or closing the building, when required Supervise student assistants during evening and weekend hours Handle requests directed to library staff member on duty Complete projects assigned by Coordinator of Outreach and Liaison Services Perform other related duties as appropriately assigned OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Support the College's mission, vision and values, and contribute to the advancement of the College's Strategic Plan.

Education / Training : Bachelor's degree, and must have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution Experience : Reference service experience or training is required.
Experience and background in an integrated online environment required. Experience and background in electronic information resources is required.
Position Summary : This is a part-time (evening / weekend) non-exempt position providing reference services. Employed August through May, two evenings and one weekend day (640 annual hours)
