Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Post Partum for a nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Post Partum Discipline : RN Duration : Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Staff We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about supporting mothers and newborns through recovery, education, and transition to home. • Diploma in nursing or ASN / BSN
• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification (AHA only)
• Additional certifications may be required for specified areas
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills Responsibilities :
• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns, including assessment, education, and emotional support
• Monitor vital signs and physical recovery following delivery
• Assist with breastfeeding and newborn care education
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation Qualified RNs will receive :
