General Superintendent
The General Superintendent is responsible for the overall leadership, planning and coordination of multiple construction projects. Working closely with clients, leadership teams and the Superintendents, the General Superintendent will be accountable for the staffing and initial scheduling and planning and supporting projects to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the contract, schedule and budget. In this role you may be required to travel up to 70% of the time
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily operational objectives, timelines, and goals. Lead others through coaching and performance management; ensure compliance with company policies and work procedures, contract and project schedules, safety and quality. Participate in the scheduling and planning of multiple current and future projects, meet regularly with staff and subcontractors when needed to discuss progress, obstacles, challenges and assist in removing barriers to completing work. Monitor the overall progress of project and work site, review processes and practices within the team to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of delivery. Read construction documents to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures. Recruit Sr. Superintendents, Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 10-15 years of experience in field supervision working on medium to large construction projects Extensive knowledge of scheduling for multiple projects, cost / budget control and safety procedures General knowledge of all crafts of construction Experience managing performance and leading a diverse field team General Computer skills (MS Office) Valid Driver's License Required
