Construction Project Coordinator
We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing Clean Energy Deployment team.
This role offers the flexibility of working remotely with the requirement to come into the Boston office one day per week.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, proactive, goal-oriented, and efficient.
This position provides holistic exposure to various areas of the solar industry.
Manage and balance the administrative tasks associated with a pipeline of solar construction projects from inception through closeout.
Organize administrative workloads and communicate effectively to support the field teams.
Support the Commercial Operations team with administrative tasks to meet deadlines and key milestones.
Assist in issuing project agreements and EPC contracts.
Initiate onboarding processes for new contractors and renewals for existing contractors.
Process purchase orders and change orders based on requests from the Development, Engineering, and Construction Teams.
Track and follow up on outstanding items such as change orders, missing contract items, and updated schedules.
Support the Clean Energy Deployment team with operation and process improvement initiatives using the Project Management platforms.
Support multiple reporting initiatives.
Experience working for a General Contractor or larger subcontractor.
Procore experience is highly preferred, or experience with any construction software.
Project Administration experience, working with Project Managers on coordination and documentation for projects.
Basic computer skills, specifically with email, Word, and Excel.
Strong background in office organization and project administration.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Experience or working knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience or working knowledge of platforms such as NetSuite, Procore, SalesForce, and SharePoint is beneficial but not required.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring one day per week in the downtown Boston office and four days working remotely.
The role entails a standard 40-hour work week.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
