About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

License : State License Required

Certifications : BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS-Adult or CCI RCS

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience in echocardiography
• Certifications in either RDCS-Adult or RCS
• Experience with the charting system Epic

Description :

The position requires the ability to perform echocardiograms on patients.

The role involves floating between various units.

On-call duties are required and will be rotational with other staff.

Weekend shifts will be necessary, with call coverage every 4-6 weekends.

Block scheduling is a requirement.

The expected patient-to-staff ratio is 1 : 1.

Preferred experience includes a mixture of adult inpatient and outpatient echos.

The facility typically performs standard echo exams with no invasive procedures.

Preferred patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

Key skills include 3-D Echo, M-Mode, and stress echo testing.

The position requires a solid understanding of imaging techniques, including bubble studies and contrast imaging.

Travelers are expected to float between sister facilities when required.

A vehicle is necessary for this assignment.

Candidates must submit two supervisory references covering the past year.

Inflexibility with the scheduled shifts may lead to contract termination.

All time off requests must be made upfront.
