Compensation Manager
TalentoHC is partnered with a Travel & Leisure organization in search of an epic individual to deliver a seamless, organized, Compensation program.
This person will be the subject matter expert for all things related to Compensation, who will ensure our Compensation Strategy and philosophy are carried out in our projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Analyzes cost of living increases and impact and makes annual recommendations
- Works closely with leaders and other stakeholders involved in Compensation discussions
- Liaises with leaders to ensure compliance with all job descriptions for each position in the organization;
- Conduct internal equity analysis
- Responsible for reviewing and analyzing job grading and FLSA exemption status determination.
- Conducts comprehensive assessment of compensation survey data, through specific job matching and geographic criteria to establish the correct job ranges and bands
- Reviews compensation from a total rewards perspective
- Responsible for reviewing and all incentive compensation and bonus models
- Develop salary recommendations for new hires and existing crew as well as provide analyses to include review of market value, internal equity comparisons, incumbent qualifications, and performance history.
- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information for departments or leaders as necessary
- Evaluates and implements job analysis instruments and materials.
- Prepares Reports, analysis and recommendations to the Compensation Committee as needed
- Researches employee benefits in similar industries; based on findings, recommends changes or updates to the company’s existing benefits or policies
Qualifications :
- Finds joy and purpose in supporting fellow employees on their compensation questions
- Skilled in a variety of compensation models and methodologies
- Ability to talk to and influence people of all levels and explain the variables and nuances that are involved in Compensation
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas : HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, and HR Technology
- Proficiency in headcount management, budgeting, accruing and forecasting
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business or related field
- 5 years experience directly in Compensation
- Excellent project management, presentation and influencing skills
- Must be flexible, creative, and solution forward with a positive demeanor
- High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
- Experience in a Google workplace environment a plus
- Must have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and a high level attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking
- Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, geographically diverse, and rapidly changing environment
