Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time contracted position is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support a diverse caseload of 10-15 students, ages 3-21, across multiple K-12 school locations in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires providing specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with visual impairments, conducting assessments, and collaborating closely with educators and families to enhance educational outes. While some travel between district sites will be necessary, it is not required on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions aligned with students visual impairment needs
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet educational goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to promote inclusive learning environments
• Support students access to curriculum and assistive technology as appropriate
• Maintain detailed records and ply with district and state regulations
