We are recruiting a Mental Health Support Specialist to make a positive impact on the lives of children through our STRONG program (Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation).

We are seeking applicants who are willing to provide mental services in a positive manner in a Christian work environment.

This is a full-time role and the applicant selected will be eligible for Christian Family Solutions' full benefits package.

This benefits package includes : health, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(K) plan and match policy, life insurance, and PTO.

Hours for this position are generally 7 : 30am- 4pm, Monday - Friday.

What you will be doing

Facilitating psycho-educational skills groups for clients admitted into the program. Providing general client care, de-escalation services, and support to the clinical services team.

Fostering a positive and nurturing environment aligned with our Christian values.

Quality mental health delivered with integrity is the first commitment we make to our clients. An additional commitment we make is to offer the option of Christian faith principles integrated with a client's treatment, as needed and desired by the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, and preferably in a field related to mental health.
• Previous experience working with children with severe emotional / behavioral disorders.
• Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.
• Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions.
• Previous coursework or training on children with mental health / emotional disorders.
• Personal aptitude and life experience which suggest aptitude to provide positive and effective services for children with mental health disorders.
• Willing to uphold a biblical worldview in the clinical setting.
