Utility Payment Clerk (Cashier)

Our client, a leading organization in the public service sector, is seeking a dedicated Utility Payment Clerk to join their team. As a Utility Payment Clerk, you will be an essential part of the customer service and administrative support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location : Roxboro, NC

Pay Range : $16- $18 depending on exp

Shift : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am- 5 : 00pm Duration : Temp 4-6 weeks

What's the Job?

• Processing payments at the payment window and drive-thru efficiently and accurately
• Entering payment details into the system with precision to ensure transaction accuracy
• Greeting visitors warmly and notifying relevant personnel of their arrival
• Handling various payment methods including cash, credit / debit cards, and checks
• Performing clerical or data entry tasks as assigned to support daily operations
