Controls Technician
Job Requirements
- The job involves maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to support operational goals during the 2nd shift
- Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshooting issues with PLCs, robotics, and other systems
Job Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should possess skills in PLC and robotic programming, diagnosing issues via HMI or PLC, and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problems
- Problem-solving abilities and the capability to read electrical and hydraulic prints are crucial
- The role may require last-minute and overtime work, and candidates must have their own tools
- Required qualifications include a high school diploma / GED and advanced technical training or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs
- Preferred qualifications include a USDOL Journeyman certificate, 5 years of previous manufacturing experience (preferably automotive), and familiarity with vision inspection systems, Fanuc and / or ABB Robotics, and Siemens Controls Step 5 / Step 7
