Licensed Psychologist Peer Reviewer

A company is looking for a Psychologist Peer Review Utilization Management professional for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Review and determine coverage for outpatient treatment plans and requests based on clinical criteria

Participate in peer consultations, staff meetings, and trainings while entering determinations according to guidelines

Handle appeals for previously denied outpatient services and review ongoing care exceeding normative standards

Required Qualifications

Licensed doctoral level (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) Psychologist in the state of residence

Current unrestricted license allowing for full independent practice

3+ years of post-licensure experience

Experience with insurance agencies for authorizations and peer reviews

Proficient in computer skills, including Windows OS, Outlook, Word, and Excel
