Employment Law Attorney

Boutique Law Firm focused on serving businesses by providing reputable counsel and advocacy on labor and employment, corporate, and merger and acquistion matters.  The candidate will assist in the developement of all manner of employment related contracts, advise business owners on a personal issues, defend discimination, retaliatoin, harassment and wage-and-hour claims, and assist with due-diligence for M&A matters with regards to labor and employment and HR related matters.

Position :  Employment Attorney

Location :  Lexington, Kentucky

Qualifications :

• 7 years of experience (preferred) with employment law with knowledge of Kentucky Civil Rights Act, the Kentucky Uniform Trade Secrets Act, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, USERRA, etc.
• Litigation and dispute resoluation experience in state and federal courts as well as other administrative agencies.
• Experience attending mediations and drafting / opposing motions
• J.D. & good standing with the Kentucky bar
• Book of Business preferred but not required and compensation is adjusted accordingly.
