Job Description
We are seeking a Simulation and Controls Engineer to develop aircraft simulation model with control algorithms for performance evaluation. This individual will play a critical role in developing plant models and control logic for aircraft systems.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in aircraft physics and control systems with creative problem-solving and a passion for innovation in aviation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize real-time control strategies for flight systems, propulsion, electrical power distribution, and environmental systems.
- Drive requirements definition, interface development, and integration of control systems across aircraft electrical and electronic subsystems with a focus on automation and system performance.
- Development of plant models for aircraft simulation to facilitate mission simulations and aid verification and validation
- Work closely with software team to integrate software components into simulation model
- Perform mission simulations for sizing and cycle durability
- Prepare detailed technical documentation for the models and usage
- Testing and Validation : Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, to validate the control system's performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in simulation within the aerospace or automotive industry.Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of aerospace systems and componentsSoftware Proficiency : Proficiency simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Teamcenter, Jira, Confluence,Git, ANSYS SCADE or similar)Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex electrical issues and develop innovative solutions.Communication : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications
