The Inventory Control Specialist duties include collecting inventory and sales data, identifying, and analyzing discrepancies. They will develop and improve inventory control systems, maintain detailed records of transactions and verify inventory counts from company warehouses and stockrooms.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize and implement inventory operations and procedures
- Review daily inventory activity
- Maintain accurate perpetual inventory records within the business system
- Coordinate resolution of issues between Receiving, Accounting and Purchasing
- Maintain a high degree of inventory accuracy and performs continuous cycle counts and leads annual physical inventory
- Measure and report inventory accuracy to management staff
- Meet productivity demands established by work function
- Validate packing lists and contents against purchase orders and perform the required receiving steps in the company business systems
- Maintain accurate company records via the company business system and enter corrections and adjustments as authorized by management
- Initiate and administer Cycle Count program
- Reconcile of inventory issues and variances
- Improvement Projects as assigned
- Research and examine current and historical inventory transactions to root cause issue and implement counteractions

The starting pay range for this position is $22 to $26 per hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
