Must-Have : Ability to work every other weekend and float to other units as needed

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care.

The nurse will work on a 40-bed unit focusing on patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.

The unit also cares for a large number of post-operative neuro-surgery and spinal surgery patients.

The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.

Nursing duties include assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The working environment supports diverse patient populations, including bariatric and telemetry care.

The unit features a Neuro Monitoring area for pediatric patients starting at age 5.

The use of electronic health records and medication distribution systems is required.

Qualified candidates must be able to accommodate holiday requests based on unit needs.

COVID-19 vaccinations are not required; however, a flu vaccination is mandatory with medical exemptions only.
