Salary : $80k - $120k per year

Position Overview :

The Project Superintendent at Adams Contracting, LLC, is a field-based position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of heavy, highway, and civil construction projects Tennessee and Kentucky. This role ensures that all on-site activities are executed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The superintendent maintains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. They report directly to the Project Manager of each assigned project. This role also requires experience in operating construction equipment, as the superintendent may need to operate machinery on-site when necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

• On-Site Project Management :

Supervise all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and plans.

Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections.

Operate construction equipment as needed to support project goals, maintaining proficiency in relevant equipment.

Lead and motivate on-site teams, promoting a high-performance culture.

Manage on-site resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Identify potential issues promptly and develop effective solutions.

Maintain accurate on-site documentation and reports for project progress.

Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and stakeholders.

Ensure all on-site activities are completed on schedule without compromising quality or budget.

Uphold and promote safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Precisely interpret and implement construction layouts from surveyor's stakes.

Cultivate a cohesive and efficient on-site team that aligns with company values.

Efficiently allocate on-site resources to enhance productivity and prevent delays.

Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and service delivery.
