Director, FP&A

At Mashgin, we have developed a successful and innovative point-of-sale experience that uses computer vision and AI to make checkout nearly instantaneous. Our kiosks are currently serving customers in thousands of locations around the world, from major sports stadiums to convenience stores, from college campuses to corporate cafeterias. This is an intermediate position where you will be responsible for all FP&A duties at Mashgin. As the director of FP&A you will be responsible for leading the FP&A team at Mashgin, be a partner to all of the business leads within the company, and be a financial guiding light to assist the C-suite in making prudent, strategic and timely decisions for each team and for the company as a whole. This will be a remote opportunity.

You Will Be

  • Responsible for enhancing company operations through the in-depth analysis of financial data, revenue and cost models, as well as long-range plans, annual budgets and three statement reporting
  • Developing strategies to optimize financial performance while maintaining financial systems, and ensuring efficient data flow and reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial reporting and monthly budget vs actual processes with all business units
  • Building and managing an FP&A team with cross-functional capabilities and strong analytical prowess

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A, with a strong understanding of financial cycles and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience with large datasets, revenue, and cash flow modeling
  • Proficiency in financial systems, such as SAP, Hyperion, Pigment, Sapien, or PowerBI
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally, influence senior leadership and convey complex financial insights to various stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong commitment to detail, accuracy, consistency and ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions with various tools and methods
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with software and hardware combination strongly desired
  • Prior experience at a high growth and fast paced company strongly desired
  • 10+ years of business & FP&A experience Professional degrees preferred
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
